My name is Erica and I am the new boss of the "Nutrition" page of this site! Let me start by letting you know that I am NOT a dietician, nor do I have any sort of background in the science-y aspects of nutrition...but, I sure do like food. I've also learned a little bit in my time at Crossfit Carteret just how much easier (or tougher) a WOD (and your daily life) can be depending on what you eat, so I'm hoping you can visit this page and find a recipe or some motivation to help you eat a little cleaner.
Finally, did I mention that I really like to eat delicious food?

*I don't think it's a secret that I like kale. Some people are a little scared of it or have had some kale that hasn't been prepared really deliciously and so they shy away from it! The other thing about kale is that the fresher it is (like, straight out of the garden--or a container on your porch with a few plants in it!), the tastier, sweeter, AND more nutritious it is! Want help growing some? Let me know!
